Join Aigent.ai’s fast-growing team for an exciting opportunity. Our Artificial Intelligence platform provides real-time, content-based guidance to call center agents, supporting call centers in the financial services, fintech, insurance, insurtech, and healthtech verticals.

Aigent seeks a VP of Technology to lead the vision for and manage our existing natural language processing and AI technology, infrastructure, backend, and architecture; define strategies and growth plans; manage the technology budget, and oversee architecture and information security. This role will report to the CEO and work closely with the VP of Product and the VP of Tech Operations.

We are looking for an experienced candidate with SaaS expertise, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning knowledge, a deep technical understanding of R&D, and strong leadership abilities. Knowledge of the contact center space is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and inspire your team and colleagues; be a critical part of the leadership team
  • Define the enterprise technology vision and strategy in partnership with key Aigent colleagues
  • Lead the technology roadmap and work closely with product and engineering to determine prioritization, resource allocation, and timelines for Aigent.ai
  • Manage the AI and R&D teams to prepare for the future of our product
  • Collaborate with product and engineering on the development lifecycle – for example, requirements analysis, strategic planning, design/architecture, execution, deployment, and maintenance
  • Own accountability for information security and manage the security team
  • Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
  • Ensure Aigent’s technology is used efficiently, profitably, and securely

Qualifications:

  • Based on the US East Coast, NYC preferred
  • Strategic thinker with 10+ years of experience working and leading in SaaS
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills, including a track record of coaching and mentorship
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present a technology vision confidently in a way that motivates others both internally and externally
  • Understanding of budgets and business-planning
  • Data-driven to evaluate product-market fit and other aspects of product performance, able to identify insights that will influence future decisions
  • Have a proven understanding of best engineering practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code review, source control, build, test, deploy, and operations
  • Call center telephony system familiarity is a plus but not required (Avaya, AWS Connect, Twilio, Genesys PureCloud, etc.)
